Gorenka, a small village near Kyiv, had been under Russian shelling since the first days of the full-scale invasion. About 80% of the houses were damaged by the rashists.
The house of granny Maria stayed safe during the Second World War, but was destroyed by the Russian Federation. Days and nights there was shelling. The front door, windows and roof were damaged.
Granny Maria has a grandson. He is fighting in the East of Ukraine, protecting Ukrainians from russian aggression. So, the granny was in a difficult situation.
We joined to help. We restored the roof and installed 10 new energy-saving windows. Now granny and her dog Kudlatyk will be able to spend the winter comfortably. With the hope for the best.
